Usage data captured automatically
Each time this website is visited, so-called usage data is logged in server log files as a customary operation on the web. This usage data is automatically transmitted by your web browser. The following information is concerned:
For security reasons (for instance, in order to identify attempted attacks), we store the above-mentioned usage data for a maximum period of seven days and then delete it. Data to be retained as evidence for a longer period of time is exempt from deletion until the underlying event has been finally clarified. Log file data can in some cases be forwarded to investigation authorities.
Otherwise usage data is used for web analysis purposes as described in the "Google Analytics" section below.
Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", i.e. text files which are stored on your computer and enable your usage of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie regarding your usage of this website is normally sent to a Google server in the US and stored there. However, in the event that the IP anonymization feature is activated on this website, Google will first set the last digits of your IP address to zero in member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will be sent to a Google server in the US and shortened there in exceptional cases only. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google uses this information in order to evaluate your usage of the website, compile reports on website activities and provide further services to the website operator related to website and Internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser in conjunction with Google Analytics will not be combined by Google with other data.
Please note that on this website Google Analytics was amended by the "gat._anonymizeIp();" code in order to ensure anonymized capture of IP addresses.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by making the appropriate settings in your browser software. Please note, however, that you may then be unable to use all functions of this website.
You can also download and install the browser plugin from the link below in order to prevent the capture of the data (including your IP address) generated by cookies and related to your usage of the website as well as its transmission to Google and processing by Google. The current link is: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
When using a mobile device (smartphone or tablet) to visit our website, you will in future have to click on this link in order to stop Google Analytics from tracking your visit to this website. You can also use this instead of the above browser add-on. Click the link to set an opt-out cookie in your browser which is only valid for this browser and this domain.
