The GAUFF Foundation supports the Wärmestube Nuremberg.
The Wärmestube Nuremberg, which offers its services to people living in the streets, is operated by the Caritas, the Stadtmission (City Mission) of Nuremberg and the City of Nuremberg. Homeless people get a warm meal at lunchtime and a snack in the afternoon and evening here. They are also allowed to use the heated rooms to maintain social contacts, to wash their clothes and to deposit them in a cloakroom. What is important is that the Wärmestube’s address can be used to receive mail, and its phones for the search of jobs and flats. Homeless people are here given the opportunity to find a job, and perhaps even a permanent home.
The GAUFF Foundation supports the Wärmestube with urgently required materials and with extension and renovation work in the house.
