GAUFF Foundation supports "Medical Caravan"

With the aid of the GAUFF Foundation the Albertine-Amissa-Foundation together with the Omar-Bongo-Ondimba Foundation in Gabon organized a big "Medical Caravan". From 1st until 8th of June international teams of doctors were travelling all around Gabon, to offer at all in all 15 contact points for examinations in respect of early recognition of diabetes, hypertension and epilepsy. Different medical specialists in the team of the caravan were even in a position to carry out necessary surgical intervention on sick persons.

The GAUFF Foundation provided the vital medicaments for the treatment of malaria and other diseases in a total value of about €305.000,--

The "Medical Caravan" was initiated in memory of the late former president of the Republic of Gabon, Mr Omar Bongo and his also deceased daughter Albertine Amissa Bongo.
