In summer 2011, together with the “European Foundation Dentists without Borders” (Dentists without Limits Foundation – DWLF), the GAUFF Foundation has furnished two fixed dental clinics as well as a classroom for the University Hospital for Dental and Oral Medicine in Ulan Bator, capital city of Mongolia. The financing of the projects has been provided from the Dentists without Limits Foundation and from the GAUFF Foundation on equal parts.

Cabinets and sideboards for storage of dental materials as well as furniture for the classroom, in which up to 20 trainees on the courses can study and practice, have been manufactured individually for the education center. In addition, an X-ray viewer, flat screen monitor, whiteboard and cabinets for teaching and demonstration materials have been installed. The treatment rooms have been reshaped in order to meet the central European standards and a. o. been equipped with two permanently installed dental units with an oral camera, ultrasonic and plaque remover devices.

The dental clinic of the University Hospital has been solemnly handed over and officially inaugurated on September 1^st 2011 with the participation of supra-regional and regional representatives of authorities and the press.
