“We make the mistake not to look at other people as our fellows but as second class human beings”, wrote the famous “Doctor of Lambarene” Albert Schweitzer. 

For us, the philosophy to look at people in need as our fellows and not as “second class human beings”, means to provide these people with the necessary means for them to help themselves. This can take the form of preventive aid, as, for example, when we help to improve the health care in developing regions. But it might also come as the spontaneous response to an impression, especially when we recognize an acute need. In this, our objective is always to accompany the people, institutions and projects we support, over longer periods of time. This is the only way to find out whether our aid is as successful as we hope.

To date we were able to invest a tidy sum of around € 1.7 million for the realization of our aid projects.
